Steps to Reproduce:
# Open any existing model
# Invoke *Manage custom data type* dialog
# Add one item definition
# Save and close *Manage custom data type* dialog
# Notice there will be no indication designer is dirty - no lock next to asset name
# Try to close designer, you will be prompted about unsaved changes
