I think we can simplify Liz proposal and following the direction described by Jozef and, in detail:
The user will be able to populate a Collection in either way, giving him the ability to switch between the 2 options and freely populate them. The point to highlight is to understand what happens when save button is clicked, when we have both options populated. In my opinion, only the current shown option should be considered and persisted. And we need to inform the user of that, with a popup or a label similar to: "Only the <selected radio option> will be considered, Do you want to continue?".
