[~stetson.robinson] I updated the mockup, thanks. 
[~tirelli] [~karreiro] [~dadossan] To recap the proposal is to provide the following:
A) Custom input hint text per type including an example using the proper expression syntax. 
B) Inline help text below the input area would be generic for every type and provide a link to the supported DMN specification.
