[~mstevens1] Just wanted to call this jira out to you because I've modified the "Navigator" panel design a bit. 
* We needed to add a "components" palette into the this - it allows the user to drag nodes onto the canvas. But there is still the "navigator" proper which is just a tree to navigate filters view of the canvas. 
* I didn't combine the drag behavior into the navigator because I believe that nodes are imported into the file and available for use, but might not be used in the graph. Have I got that right [~karreiro]? :)
