Hi [~emmurphy] this won't affect 7.4 as  https://issues.jboss.org/browse/DROOLS-3515 is not merged into 7.4.

Furthermore if DROOLS-3515 is merged into 7.4 then we'd also want to merge https://issues.jboss.org/browse/DROOLS-4251 which allows saving a DMN file with errors. This JIRA will remain an issue - IMO incorrectly reporting unresolvable DMN imports - but it will not affect usage of the editor. So, at the moment I think it premature to add this JIRA to the Known Issues section of the release notes.
