Filip Brychta commented on SWSQE-647:
-------------------------------------
RHEL 8 will be added to the RHEL HCL at GA with a handful of certifications from the usual suspects (Dell, HP, Lenovo, Cisco, etc). I don't have details on the particular models, but I would expect their best sellers to show up first. For RHEL to be certified, the hardware test suite must pass w/ the included drivers in the kernel. RHEL CoreOS inherits 100% of this just like Atomic Host did.

> Control plane resides exclusively on Red Hat CoreOS 8 (IPI & UPI)
> So we need to find out if it's possible to install CoreOS 8 on our machines
