Sometimes is enough to just call "isEmpty" on such a cache (as CacheImpl internally gets the entry set to check if is empty). Main problem is that PersistenceManagerImpl uses Flowable (RxJava) that doesn't call the onComplete method so that the resourceDisposer should be called. Don't understand in which cache should a cache not need to release it's permit after finishing it's method execution, why not use try / finally?
