[~flavia.rainone] I think they should not be deleted immediately and the modifiable expiration settings should be in preference in my PoV. This comes from the perspective of how the recovery manager works. It runs periodically and it can have several unsuccessful attempts to finish a transaction branch. But eventually, it will succeed when the node is already up, the network is healthy...
