Per PM reply shared storage is meant to be DB. So I am dropping the priority.

> In this case lets say shared storage is a relation DB. the DB instance (likely in a "separate" pod than that of the EAP app) can be configured in a persistent volume or completely outside of OpenShift, correct ? (This are the typical good practice logical/physical architectures)
