P.S. I think there might be an other dimension to this issue. 

What if you want to force cross-module CDI via meta-inf="import" and discovery of beans with mode "annotated" ?
I think then these warnings might show up again and i'm not sure cross module CDI would work then

Might be worth another bug ID.
