Thanks for your reply.

In both cases (either using seam.properties, or an empty seam.properties and the information in web.xml) we encounter the same error.

javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: projectMgmt not bound
  |         at org.jnp.server.NamingServer.getBinding(NamingServer.java:529)
  |         at org.jnp.server.NamingServer.getBinding(NamingServer.java:537)
  |         at org.jnp.server.NamingServer.getObject(NamingServer.java:543)

Do you have any other suggestions?
