Ok I can add scale to my generated code. But even upon deployment I get the same errorc (expected numeric 10,2). I think that jboss is falling on:
mysql implementing numerics as decimal. (desc table shows detail, and createdb script shows numerics).
I think I'am missing a few settings checked dialect though.

(mysql 5.02, jboss 4.0.5GA seam1.1GA, winxp sp2).
