So this is true even when using facelets?

So I have to access the parameters passed via the FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getExternalContext().
getRequestParameterMap().get(...
        

Why doesn't this tag support actionListeners?

I was hoping to change all commandLinks to use this link tag.
