     I tried uncommenting the lines:

  |       <!-- Rollover at midnight each day 
  |       <param name="DatePattern" value="'.'yyyy-MM-dd"/>
  |       -->
  | 
  |       <!-- Rollover at the top of each hour
  |       <param name="DatePattern" value="'.'yyyy-MM-dd-HH"/>
  |       -->
  | 
  | 
  | 

but these led to no changes...i can see your configs have these two lines missing ...... i hope this would make it.
