We understand from the documentation that the server expects to find a listening socket on the client machine. What the documentation does not mention is what is supposed to be listening on that socket.

We assumed that the client would open a listening port when it tried to connect to the server, or at least give an error if such a port was not available. Is this the case? Or is there something that needs to be run on the client in order to use JBoss-messaging remotely?
