[jboss-user] [JNDI/Naming/Network] - java:comp vs java:

I'm confused as to the difference in use and results of using java:comp vs java:

When do you use one versus the other, and why are you required to use these at all? I've read up on the ENC but everything I've read doesn't 'dumb it down' enough for me.

Anybody, please explain in clearer and simpler terms this difference. Thanks.
