[jboss-user] [EJB 3.0] - EJB versions

Hi,
I'm a beginner so please bare with me on this. My question is on the versioning of the EJB 3.0 releases.
What does EJB 3.0 RC 8 mean?
Is this purely a JBoss only style? What does the RC mean?
Also how do I know what version of hibernate this supports?
