By default, the EntityManager isn't placed in JNDI.

To do so, add the property:

<property name="jboss.entity.manager.factory.jndi.name" value="java:/yourJndiName"/>

...to persistence.xml, and inject using:

@Resource (mappedName="java:/yourJndiName")
  | EntityManager em;
