most likely not. If there was no jira issue, things can slip of the radar.

Besides that. Can't you do this by implementing an ejb with a 'requires new' for the transaction and call that from the actionhandler? Or even do something with a spring bean? I personally think (but the developers may think otherwise) that the jBPM processdefinition should not be the place to do this
