Thanks for the fast reply max!

I did take a look at xulrunner and 64 bit vista, but when i switched tabs once, everything works until i close the editor.

I was trying to call the change tab event myself in the sourcecode of VpeEditorPart.java, in a way that when i open the editor, it automatically changes tabs and loads the editor. (as a quick temporary fix)
Do you know where this call can be done?
