If someone cares ...

I've solved this by using the VM parameter : -Djavax.xml.transform.TransformerFactory=com.sun.org.apache.xalan.internal.xsltc.trax.TransformerFactoryImpl"

I have no idea why the Xalan transformer causes this, but it solved my problem, and that what matters ;)
