Is it possible to override the default log4j configuration?

>From what I've seen, if you do that, then you get the "jboss forums invalid console appender config detected, console stream is looping" error.

What if you _don't_ want the default logging? i.e. you want to load the logging config from some custom location? via a jndi url lookup for instance?
