thanks for the reply...
m using jboss-4.0.4 on windows xp.
bt  there is no folder as <JBOSS_HOME>/server/default/location from where i can delete tmp ,log and work.....i hv these folder in  <JBOSS_HOME>/server/default 
bt if i delete log folder fm here where ll i check my log file den??
