The JBoss App Server does not execute Perl, only Java.  If you want to execute Perl scripts, you should also set up Apache HTTPD. See http://www.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=UsingMod_jk1.2WithJBoss to connect HTTPD to JBoss.  In addition, you will have to configure HTTPD to execute Perl scripts.
