There's a JIRA issue for improving exception handling in Seam Remoting here http://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBSEAM-633.  Redirecting to a login page on an exception would an application's responsibility, however the remoting code would need to support this.  I suggest you add a comment to the JIRA issue detailing your specific requirements.
