Hi j.sark,

You can shutdown the server using it's JNP port, this is indicated in 
your <default-or-test>/conf/ directory in the file jboss-service.xml 
where NamingService is defined, you'll find a line that goes like this:

<attribute name="Port">11101</attribute>

The number of the port here is just an example, your sysadmin setup a 
different one for sure, once you know the port number, check if it's up 
and listening and if it is try executing:

./shutdown.sh -s <name_or_ip_of_your_host>:11101

or the port number that your sysadmin defined.
