Hi

I new to Jboss as well as Jboss Cache. I am trying to set the JBossCache (PojoCache) in Jboss AS which has Jboss Portal.

Following are the steps.

Added the following pojocache-service.xml under deploy directory.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

  | <!-- ===================================================================== -->
  | <!--                                                                       -->
  | <!--  Sample PojoCache Service Configuration                               -->
  | <!--                                                                       -->
  | <!-- ===================================================================== -->

  |          </config>
  |       </attribute>
  |    </mbean>
  |
  | </server>

Then I have added the jboss-aop.xml under the XXX.war/WEB-INF/ folder

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
  | <aop>
  |   <!--
  | This is JBossAop way of declaring every field in Address has a hook
  | for both get and set.
  |   -->
  |  <prepare expr="field(* $instanceof{org.jboss.cache.aop.test.Person}->*)" />
  | </aop>

I am using the following test.jsp to test the same.

  | MBeanServer server=MBeanServerLocator.locateJBoss();
  | TreeCacheMBean cache;
  | cache=(TreeCacheMBean)MBeanProxyExt.create(TreeCacheMBean.class, "jboss.cache:service=testPojoCache", server);
  |
  | cache.put("cache.test","1","4");
  | String output1 = (String) cache.get("cache.test","1");
  | out.println("</br>cache.test = " + output1);
  |
  | Person per= new Person();
  | cache.put("cahce.test","Person",per);
  | output2 = (String) cache.get("cache.mvn","Person");
  | out.println("</br>cache.mvn= " + output2);

This works fine, but anychanges to the person object are not getting update in the cache.

I think adding the jboss-aop.xml under the WEB-INF folder alone doesnt solve the issue. What else has to be done?

Please Help.
