The 'self' producer issue is being addressed. It only occurs if WSRP is deployed before Portal. As far as the issue with the ProducerConfiguration service, I am looking into it. Thanks for the report and sorry about the issues. As Thomas mentioned, you can work with Portal without WSRP being deployed...
