[jboss-user] [Beginners Corner] - Hotswap is sloooow on JBoss AS

I connect my debugger remotely to a JBoss 4.0.5 server running on the local machine.
My app is deployed as ear-file. 
After recompiling a single class, the hotswap takes almost two minutes (with no noticeable CPU usage or IO consumption at all).

Can somebody using the JBoss Eclipse IDE confirm this?

Or is it a problem of my IDE (IntelliJ IDEA)? (JetBrains support took a look at profiler and thread dumps and is telling that IDEA is just waiting for a response from the JVM that JBoss runs on. Hotswap in other apps is very fast.)

Anything else I can try?
