Hi, 
I use jbpm-starters-kit-3.1.2 and I have the same problem. 
When I use swimlane with user expression, that works fine but I don't get to use group expression ) . 
I defined users, groups and memberships and that is ok but it don't work fine. 

I don't want to use a alpha version, can anyone help me?
