You see those messages because you dont have a log4j.properties or log4j.xml file in the classpath of the client (MyBeanClient). Have a look at http://jaitechwriteups.blogspot.com/2006/07/i-get-log4jwarn-no-appenders-could-be.html for more details. All you have  to do is place a log4j.xml or log4j.properties file in the classpath of your client
