That supposed "contradition" was explained (again) 
only a couple of weeks ago in this forum so again you haven't looked very hard.

Again FAQ doesn't mean you're going to find your exact question in the FAQ.
It means the question has been asked many times before in the forum.
It could also be in the FAQ under some variation, but not necessarily.

In this case it is in the FAQ under both
where the messages are described as "overflowling onto disk"
and a more direct link under "MemoryUsage"
where the behaviour is described in more detailed as well as a link
to the configuration options.

I rest my case.
