[jboss-user] [Beginners Corner] - ejb connection to C server socket application

Hi, I'm developing a simple session ejb and It has to do request socket 
connections to an old C server socket application.
Now, I'd like to know if a correct solution it could be  a JCA Resource Adapter to make socket connections and it could be a scalable solution.
Any suggestions are welcome.
