[jboss-user] [JBoss Portal] - Help me get a HttpServletRequest object in the header.jsp

I can't find the class below in the javadoc.  I am trying to get a standard HttpServletRequest object in the header.jsp but all I get is this
org.jboss.portal.common.servlet.BufferingRequestWrapper.  Can anyone tell me how to get a standard HttpServletRequest object?
