No - I haven't installed the 'Seam Resource Servlet' I can't see anything in the 1.2 Docs, "Chapter 24. Seam JSF controls" that says I should.  Are you saying I need to install this by asking if I have?  If it needs to be installed to use the Seam JSF tags then that's a bug in the docs - the docs clearly state that I need to install the 'Seam Filter' to use <s:fileUpload/>...
