async subprocess? afaik (but I do not know all) subprocesses are not async. the 3.0.x versions of the gpd does not support this well visually (if at all) only the 3.1 (alpha3 atm) contains some functionality, therefor google or any search will not yield any results.

The best I can say atm is to try 3.1alpha3
