[jboss-user] [Installation, Configuration & Deployment] - Linux - Problem in Jboss server starting

I have unzipped version of Jboss4.0.4.GA.I have copied this folder in windows machine and executed 'run.bat' under bin directory.The Jboss server started without any problems.But when I copy the same folder to Linux machine and executed 'run.sh' under bin directory,the server didn't start and threw an error message 
'The JVM option is invalid: -server
Could not create the Java virtual machine'
Please provide suitable solution to overcome this problem.
