Check the deploy/ejb-deployer.xml. 
You may have to comment 
org.jboss.ejb.txtimer.DatabasePersistencePolicy mbean block and enable org.jboss.ejb.txtimer.NoopPersistencePolicy block (which is curretnly closed).

Thant should do the trick
