Good point.  I have tried that just now, and am still facing the same issue.

I see this line in JBoss console - not sure why "%2F127.0.0.1" is appended -

12:02:08,422 INFO  [Http11Protocol] Starting Coyote HTTP/1.1 on http-vito%2F127.0.0.1-8080
