Sorry, i missed giving that information.

I replaced:
UIComponent comparedUIComponent = uiComponent.findComponent(comparedFieldId);

with:
UIComponent comparedUIComponent = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getViewRoot()
  | 				.findComponent(comparedFieldId);
