If you are deploying the jbpm-console.war on a JBoss 4.2.x instance, please make sure that the jbpm-console/WEB-INF/lib folder only includes the libs listed at the bottom of the wiki:

http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=DeployJbpm3.2WebAppUnderJBoss4.2.x

I've just verified that this works properly and have also linked the missing libraries on the wiki to the download location in the jboss repository.
