[jboss-user] Problem with time and Linux server

Hello, I'm having a very hard time in jboss, concearning date.
Here's what happens:
My CentOS server, has the date set to BRST(Brazil/East) in localtime,
and has the correct date, let's say 08:00, but on jboss logs, it
always shows 07:00, s
o basically what I can see from this is that jboss must be looking
somewhere else besides /etc/localtime to known exactly how to fiddle
with time around the
 globe.
Can someone please give me some advice on this?
