You can work around this by creating a subclass and overriding the method that checks order by validity.  This won't be fixed in 2.0.1 because we need to go back and redo seam-gen to not pass in the order clause as a request parameter.  Until that is fixed, we have to be very strict about what we accept in that parameter.
