here is the base thing about ipc :

you can integrate this with spring
nothing special to do... spring is working "aside" of the IPC.

what could be great is use some spring features to provide the IPC background mechanism (the messaging part).

see the library provided in the site (link here above)... and may be you can adapt the message store to some Spring messaging feature.
(or at least spring beans).
