[jboss-user] [Persistence, JBoss/CMP, Hibernate, Database] - Hibernate - Automatic Dialect recognition?

Hi,

I was just wondering what Hibernate will do if I don't specify any dialect at all.
Does it try to figure it out based on the connection string or something else, or does it just use a general dialect (which would be bad I guess...)?
