What Linux distro are you using?
How did you install JBossAS? 

Most likely you have a /etc/init/d/JBoss4 file which is being used to start/stop JBossAS. You can use this file as a basis for creating a second service to run a second configuration. Refer tp your Linux documentation for the steps to create another service.
