Running portal 2.6.3.
We setup a portlet to only allow view access to a group via the Admin Management Portlet. Works fine on regular pages, whose in the group see the portlet, those not in the group don't.
On dashboard pages, which contain this portlet, a 403 error is generated for those folks who don't have access to the portlet. I would have expected the portlet to not appear, but the page to successful render otherwise. If we remove the access control restriction on the portlet and allow users view access, then everything works fine and the 403 disappears.
Have others seen this? Does anyone have a solution?
