Connecting to MySql using the command line tool is no problem.

I had installed Java EE SDK 5 update 3; that contained the sun application server. But the installation failed because the domain1 could not be created. I uninstalled the SDK.

I amm logged in with administrator priveleges; I have not another profile at home :-)

There is no other firewall; I formatted my pc not long time ago and it is only one firewall.

I had no apache tomcat on this system but I had installed an old version of XAMPP (1.5.3) which I need for php-programming (private sites). But I uninstalled this too, because the different mysql-versions caused problems (I had installed MySql Server 5.0 before I installed XAMPP).

There is no apache service running. Tomorrow I will find out everything about my running processes.... and kill unneeded.
Or I kill my pc...;-(

I will test all this things on my laptop tomorrow!

I will inform you about my findings.

Greetings!
Nicole
