Hi Peter, thank you. I have been trouble shooting with a colleague from the lead you gave me and apparently JBoss needs to check that the system's hostname is locally resolvable...

The problem is that the hostname for my machine is not being resolve, so I have been advised to contact the system administrators to rectify the issue.
