I currently have a VMware image running OpenSuse 10.3. The Linux OS runs fine and I have installed 3 different App Servers on this VM(machine): 1) JBoss AS 4.2.2 2) Sun Glassfish v2 and 3) Apache Geronimo 2.2. The VM is up and running and gets an IP address from DHCP fine. All 3 app servers run fine on the VM as well either individually or at the same time (provided you have reconfigured the ports to avoid port collisions). Here is the issue. From a laptop or any other machine, I can hit all of the App servers with a browser at http://<ip address>:<port nbr> .... EXCEPT for JBoss AS. In order to hit it, I have to go to the X session on the VM and launch Firefox within that enviroment and then hit JBoss at http://localhost:<port nbr> - then it is fine. The other 2 servers work fine from any other machine using the DHCP-assigned IP...NOT JBoss. Does anyone have any idea why this would happen? - Thanks in advance.
